About MAPPAC :
Malaysian Association of Paediatric Palliative Care (MAPPAC) is a registered NGO in Malaysia dedicated to give supports to children in palliative care and their care givers.
MAPPAC's missions are to improve the quality of life of the children with life-threatening & life-limiting conditions & their families through :
• Advocating public awareness on the importance of good symptom care, parental support & end of life care for the children
• Facilitating palliative care training programmes at all levels of the healthcare systems
• Collaborating with Governmental & Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) on palliative care clinical guidelines & service
MAPPAC envisions to provide quality medical, mental and social care distinctive with a broad multidisciplinary approach to relieve the sufferings and to improve the quality of life for the severe and complexed ill children and their family members, either in hospital, hospice centre or at home
